Returning Officer statement following candidate not being present to sign the declaration: “… If the post of the PCC is vacant, if someone is disqualified or does not sign the declaration, then the post will be defined as vacant and an election will be called”. There will therefore be a further election to choose the next Wiltshire PCC. This is due to take place on 19th August 2021.
