Mayoral Election 2024: North Yorkshire

North Yorkshire Combined

The election for the first York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority Mayor will take place on Thursday 2 May 2024. The powers of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner to oversee the Police and Fire services in York and North Yorkshire will be transferred to the new Mayor once elected, along with the Commissioner’s role as the Fire Authority.

    2020 Time for change from a Conservative PFCC. The Conservative candidate was the campaign Director in 2012 and 2016 for the PFCC who is standing down. North Yorkshire does not need more of the same abiding by the party line, making savage cuts when told to as has been the case since 2010.
    There is no place for politics in Policing or the Fire Service – A voice is needed for all.
    Vote Keith Tordoff MBE – Independent and Experienced. Working for all the Police, Fire and people of North Yorkshire.
