Ahead of the PCC elections in May 2016, CoPaCC is running a “PCC Candidate Support Programme” to assist the democratic process by providing for a better informed debate.
Drawing on feedback from our first event held in December 2015, we are planning a further three briefings to be held in February and March 2016. These three events, likely to be in central London, will be themed as follows:

- a declared PCC candidate; or
- planning to stand as a PCC candidate, but not yet declared; or
- a representative of an appropriate policing-focused organisation and interested in either:
- delivering a part of the programme set out above; and/or
- having appropriate briefing materials made available to prospective PCC candidates through this CoPaCC Support Programme.
We are also offering prospective candidates who have registered on Policing Insight a complimentary upgrade to Subscriber status through to May 2015. Again, please contact me to arrange this upgrade.
Finally, CoPaCC will be doing its utmost over the coming few months to ensure that all those participating in, or commentating on, the PCC elections in May 2016 are well informed.
