Sir Clive Loader, Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire, the BBC reports, has revealed that he does not intend to stand for re-election in 2016.
He broke the news to the Leicestershire Police and Crime Panel meeting last week. He had recently returned to work following time off for surgery to address recurring back pain.
