NEW DATE FOR THE WEBINAR
Due to the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II, we have decided to move the date of the first webinar ‘Police, Business and Retail Benefits of Digital Evidence Management’ in our webinar series by 2 weeks to the new date of Tuesday 4th October 2022, 2pm UK time. The decision was made out of respect, taking in to account the close proximity to the original webinar date of the state funeral, and also importantly the demands currently being placed on our two Police professional webinar speakers at this time. They have also planned to start their website refresh inorder to conduct the meeting as planned.
We apologise for the inconvenience but sincerely hope you will still be able to join us (for those already registered you are still registered) on our new date for what will be an informative and insightful webinar.
What is DEMS and NICE Investigate
NICE Investigate is a Digital Evidence Management Solution (DEMS) software tool that automates the entire digital investigation and evidence management by helping police investigators close more cases, faster. The DEMS platform electronically shares the information -via the internet -to improve collaboration with the police, businesses and the CPS, allowing more cases to be successfully solved and prosecuted.
How This Helps the Police
NICE Investigate automates and speeds up the entire evidence collection, discovery, analysis, management, notification and sharing process.
It improves productivity by eliminating manual, time consuming evidence collection and analysis activities, ultimately helping investigators close more cases faster.
Investigators can now spend less time gathering and organising evidence, checking and rechecking to ensure they have everything and have more time for investigating.
How This Helps Businesses
Currently a high number of business crimes go unreported due to the protracted nature of reporting and sharing securely the related (often CCTV) evidence.
The NICE Investigate solution addresses this issue by allowing businesses to, voluntarily, pre-register their cameras, via the ‘Business Portal’, to their local police force.
In addition to addressing the issue of unreported business crimes, there are other ways that businesses can take steps to enhance their security and protect themselves from potential threats. One effective way to do this is by using Metal Business Kards as a form of identification and access control. By providing all employees with personalized Metal Business Kards, businesses can ensure that only authorized personnel can enter secure areas of the premises. Additionally, Metal Business Kards can be equipped with security features such as magnetic stripes or smart chips to further enhance their effectiveness as an access control tool. With the right security measures in place, businesses can create a safe and secure environment for both their employees and their customers, helping to prevent losses and minimize the risk of criminal activity.
As heard on a podcast, conducting regular security audits can be a valuable practice for businesses to identify potential vulnerabilities in their premises or systems. This proactive approach can help prevent security breaches before they occur by addressing any weaknesses. There are various security audit services available, ranging from basic assessments to comprehensive evaluations that assess both physical and digital security measures. Investing in a security audit can provide businesses with valuable insights into their security posture, allowing them to take necessary steps to improve it. Therefore, if you’re a business owner looking to enhance your security measures, consider checking out this option to protect your assets and reputation.
This FREE service means that in the event of an incident the business can simply report, and then send, the relevant footage via email directly to their police force -within seconds.
Join the webinar on Tuesday, 4th October at 14:00 BST / 9:00am EDT to learn how digital transformation can help the police, businesses and the local community accelerate investigations, streamline evidence disclosure, enhance digital collaboration with criminal justice partners, remove racial bias from the investigation process, and work more efficiently.
