Taking place over 23-25 May in Helsinki, CCW features three packed days of best practice learning as well as the chance to experience the latest technology being developed in the field of critical communications. Visitors will also be able to spend quality time networking with their peers from across the global sector.
Critical Communications World continues to prove its increasing importance to our global community. Featuring a cutting-edge conference and a packed exhibition hall, we confidently expect 2023 to be one of our best shows ever.”
Kevin Graham, TCCA chief executive
The theme of this year’s CCW conference is ‘Success in Cooperation’, chosen to reflect the philosophy of the host nation’s mission critical communications industry. The programme will focus on the increasing importance of collaboration and sharing knowledge, while at the same time communicating the latest best practice across a range of subject areas.
Topics for discussion during the conference will include the ongoing advance of critical broadband, the continued evolution of TETRA, as well as harnessing the power of hybrid networks and devices. Visitors will also be able to participate in presentations around ‘emerging’ technology, such as 5G, AI and low Earth orbit satellites.
This year’s Focus Forums are split into two broad strands: Focus Forum Expert and Focus Forum Workshops. The latter will be interactive, discussion-based, sessions led by a facilitator, focussing on the most important issues facing the sector. Focus Forum Expert meanwhile will be made up of deep-dive technical sessions, delivered by some of the most knowledgeable minds in the field.
As well as the conference and Focus Forums, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the CCW exhibition, featuring leading technology companies from across the world presenting their latest products. Manufacturers in attendance will include Airbus, Motorola Solutions, Ericsson, Nokia and many more, with more being added all the time.
Also making a return for the third year in a row will be the Government Authorities Global Village. An integral part of the CCW experience, the GAGV is a dedicated space for representatives of national critical communications projects from around the world to come together to discuss ideas, challenges and best practice.
Finally, visitors will once again also be able to take advantage of the CCW ‘tech tours’, as inaugurated at last year’s event. Led by members of the event team, these themed tours offer visitors the opportunity to experience a variety of new and innovative technologies across a range of product categories.
