Ron Ball is the Independent Police and Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire. Ron was born in Birmingham and studied engineering at Southampton University before training as a pilot with British Airways. Retiring from BA in 2005, he later flew cargo 747s until August 2012 when he stood as PCC for Warwickshire. During his flying career, Ron was also a magistrate, a governor at Welford Primary School, and a career-long active member of the British Airline Pilots Association.
