Nanci is the founder and Chief Executive for Sophia Transformations, a company which specialises in building partnerships with the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector (VSCE), as well as the public and private sectors, to better transform the lives of the most dispossessed, especially women and girls, including victims of domestic violence, and those with little access to mental health and wellbeing services. Prior to establishing Sophia Transformations in January 2016, Nanci was the Chief of Staff and Monitoring Officer for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Bedfordshire. Part of her role included partnering with the police, statutory partners and the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to end all forms of domestic abuse including honour based violence, female genital mutilation and forced marriage.
