Profile
Neil, who lives in Chester, joined the Liberal Democrats in May 2015 because he didn’t want to see the open, transparent and evidence based liberal voice disappear from politics and public life.
After leaving the Economist Group in 1997 Neil has worked as an entrepreneur building digital companies, health distribution and property investment portals, creating jobs and opportunities in Chester, Crewe and across Cheshire, UK and Europe.
With a private sector background, Neil appreciates the risks that cybercrime poses to our communities and work place.
He also understands how business has been able to use lean innovation and evidence to bring about better service for less money and can help the Cheshire police do the same.
A published author, a dementia friend, a local runner and a contributor to local business groups, Neil is also a qualified leadership coach and business mentor, helping people to achieve more.
As your candidate for the Cheshire Police & Crime Commissioner, Neil can bring about a far greater openness and transparency on local police performance as well as lead the fight to reduce costs whilst tackling cybercrime and better protecting local and vulnerable people.
