Mary Elliott-Davies is a Research Practitioner at the Police Federation of England and Wales' Head Quarters in Leatherhead, Surrey. She received a BSc in Psychology from the University of Sussex in 2006 before being awarded a MSc in Forensic Psychology at the University of Surrey in 2013. She has presented at several conference on a wide range of policing specific topics as well as being lead author on a recently published article in The Police Journal: Theory, Practice and Principles.
Although Mary is interested in a wide range of investigative and psychology, she is particularly interested in wellbeing within the police service, memory and cognition. Currently she is collaborating with other academics on several research projects spearheaded by the Police Federation of England and Wales as well as beginning a part-time PhD at Royal Holloway exploring single-crewing, stress, fatigue and decision making.
