Lindsey has 8 years’ experience of working within West Yorkshire Police, initially within the Command Team Secretariat and formally as a Project Support Officer within the Force Performance Improvement Unit reviewing and updating Force processes and implementing new systems. Lindsey also has previous experience of working within the public and private sectors in finance, performance management and administrative roles and is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner. Lindsey has 12 months experience of working on EU funded projects looking at Community Policing and undertaking research to identify a pan European understanding of Community Policing and the development of best practice and pilots to test processes and technology produced within the project. Lindsey has also worked on projects looking at the threat faced by the police around the criminal use of UAVs which included the collation of end user requirements for a system to detect UAVs and assisting with the investigation of such use. In previous roles Lindsey also has experience of working on projects which included a review of the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme in West Yorkshire, the implementation of a voluntary Satellite Tagging system for repeat offenders, the implementation of a device to protect high risk victims of Domestic Abuse and the implementation of a communication system to allow crime prevention and local performance information to be circulated to members of the community.
