Dr Jason Walker, PsyD, Ph.D., CTSS, CCAC, CCI, DAAETS, SHRM-SCP, CPHR, C.Psychol, is an associate professor and vice chair of the Senate at the University Canada West. In addition, he holds adjunct clinical professor position at the City University of Seattle School of Behavioral Sciences and adjunct professor of psychology at Adler University. He is a chartered psychologist, chartered professional in human resources, crisis interventionist, addiction and recovery specialist, diplomate for the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and published researcher. He is internationally recognized as an expert in the assessment and intervention related to workplace violence. He has been a part of the intersection of organizational psychology and mental health for over 20 years. For the past decade, Dr Walker has worked as a practitioner in Canada's rural and remote Indigenous communities. Dr Walker is the recipient of the Governor-General of Canada’s Caring Hands Medal, the Priory of Canada Order of St John and the Order of St. John Serving Member (SMStJ), Paul Harris Fellow for Rotary International and the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John Priory of Canada for life-saving.
