David was elected as Cheshire’s Police & Crime Commissioner in May 2016. He has had 17 years continuous experience of being a local and parish councillor, including 5 years at Cabinet level, listening, representing and delivering for local residents.
David has a deep respect for our Public Services, and for those who work within them. He is a proud husband and father, which remain his most important roles in life and is working for the best future possible for families and children in Cheshire, Halton and Warrington.
He qualified with a Law Degree (with honours) after initially studying Criminal Justice at University and prior to his election ran his own business. He has experience up to and including board level in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
