The BBC reports that the police helicopter covering Dyfed-Powys may be permanently grounded. A Freedom of Information request has led to publication of National Police Air Service (NPAS) minutes suggesting that, despite the local PCC’s public opposition to this move, he was privately ‘reluctant to oppose’ the new NPAS approach that would see the helicopter covering Dyfed-Powys lost.
