HMIC had significant concerns about the capability and capacity of Surrey Police to safeguard vulnerable people and investigate crimes committed against them. We found serious weaknesses in the force’s arrangements for protecting vulnerable people from harm and for supporting victims. In April 2016, HMIC carried out an inspection revisit to examine whether the force has improved how it protects vulnerable victims.
