Deputy Chief Constable Emma Barnett told a public performance meeting that there had been an 'upward trend' of sexual misconduct cases in the last two years – partly due to increased awareness of 'unacceptable' behaviour following improved training. Seventeen of the complaints came from members of the public, while 23 were internal reports, with a number still the subject of live investigations.
