About the role
Working on our brand new flagship contract, Babcock International have partnered with several Higher Education Institutes across London to deliver the new MET Police PEQF framework. You will be responsible to deliver engaging, evidence based, high energy lectures and assessments to ensure students’ progress in a timely manner through their programme.
This is an excellent opportunity to give back your skills and knowledge in order to upskill the next generation of MET Police recruits.
As well as being part of a business that support over 14,000 apprentices, we’ll also provide you with all the training that you need to become a fully qualified Lecturer.
What do I need to be able to do the role?
You will need to have comprehensive understanding of policing and the evidence base current context, challenges and issues, gained through previous operational experience
We would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
- Level 7 Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (or willing to achieve this during the probation period).
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
- Have a proactive mind set with a ‘can do’ attitude.
What else do I need to know?
Successful applicants will need to be eligible to attain enhanced DBS through the Disclosure and Barring Service and military security clearance.
