The Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW), Annual Conference is a pivotal event in the policing calendar and we are delighted to be back in 2022, welcoming attendees from the 43 branches across England and Wales, to get to the heart of topics that matter most to our members.

Facilitated by talkRADIO host Ian Collins, the conference will centre around the theme of Fighting for Fairness, where over the course of two days, speakers will provide valuable insights through debate and discussion, raising awareness, sharing good practice, and challenging the balance of fairness around key issues affecting the policing community. The conference will also be announcing and presenting an award to the winner of the Women in Policing Award 2022.

This year, in addition to welcoming attendees in person we are delighted to be able to offer the option to attend virtually, via our online platform. Sessions can be viewed via the online platform and questions can be posed to speakers in the main auditorium sessions. There is also an opportunity to build your profile and interact with other online attendees.

With more than 100 years’ history of representing, negotiating, and influencing on behalf of its 130,000+ members, the PFEW is proud to be presenting the Annual Conference, one of the UK’s largest policing events, bringing together between 600 – 800 attendees.

Further details will be updated during the build-up to the event, if you have any questions, please drop us a line at [email protected].

Virtual delegates will be able to view a live stream of these sessions and pose questions via the online platform. We are also pleased to offer breakout sessions that will give a deeper dive into key topics. These sessions will be recorded so that they can be viewed at leisure and all of the content covered will be accessible to everyone.

We are in the process of finalising our agenda content and speaker details.

The event will take place over the course of two days and will explore the following topics: Conduct performance, pay and conditions, misogyny, operation uplift, pensions, LQC hearings, case file preparation, and a keynote address.
