25-26 June 2025, Crowne Plaza, Statford Upon Avon

Join us at the Seventh National Conference on Policing and Mental Health, where we will reflect on the progress of the NPCC Mental Health Strategy (2022-2025) and explore future challenges and opportunities.

Over two days, distinguished speakers will share insights on the evolving role of policing in mental health, advancements in technology, and the benefits of successful partnership working. Be part of a forward-thinking dialogue that is shaping the future of mental health responses.

The implementation of Right Care Right Person has already transformed police practices and delivered positive outcomes for the public. Looking ahead, we will build on these successes by exploring innovative pathways across the broader landscape of policing and mental health including criminal justice, data recording and analysis, crisis response, and community initiatives.

Our discussions will also address the current review of Approved Professional Practice (APP) guidance, the development of national legal advice and guidance for mental health and police custody, and innovative approaches to managing mental health risks. Importantly, we will examine how the new Mental Health Bill presents opportunities to reshape our response and drive transformative change in mental health crisis intervention.
