Building on last year’s successful ‘Back to Basics’ virtual event; this year we are bringing you a mixture of fascinating case studies, practical tips and approaches to Internet Intelligence Investigations. Some presentations will cover questions around using DSAs, different social media platforms and crime types and spotlight those who are exploring the art of the possible in this space.

Sessions will include:

– A welcome and opening address from Deputy Chief Constable Rachel Williams, Gwent Police, NPCC Lead for Internet Intelligence and Investigations

– A NCPTF case study by Micah Hoffman and Griffin Glynn, OSINT

– A YouTube case study by Darren Murphy, Bedfordshire Police, Digital Media Investigation Team

– An introduction, guides, tools and techniques on Telegram by Steven Harris, Nixintel, OSINT Trainer & Sans and Cyber Threat Analyst

– A case study using Google ‘takeout data’ by Christopher Haines, Metropolitan Police

– A presentation on building a Virtual Machine by Kevin Eyles, Gwent Police

– A case study using III for football threat and risk assessment by Simon Hensley, West Midlands Police

We are currently working hard on the agenda, check back for updates.
