Paul has taught International and Comparative Policing and Terrorism modules and runs a PhD programme at CCCU. Prior to this he worked at New Scotland Yard’s Counter-Terrorism Command specialising in international terrorism and was subsequently Vice President of Risk Management and European Security for the New York Stock Exchange Group. His PhD addressed the development of European police cooperation, and he has published articles on Interpol, the Schengen Accords and co-authored a research paper on the security implications of Brexit.
