Nick is a researcher in the Innovation and Research team at the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA). While at ANZPAA, Nick has worked on research projects ranging from police trust, social cohesion, to police militarisation. He has multidisciplinary research interests in the ethics of armed force, the law and morality of war, institutional trust and legitimacy, and policing methods. Before ANZPAA, Nick worked in various research roles at the University of Melbourne, and the University of Canterbury. He moved from New Zealand in 2014 to undertake his PhD in at the University of Melbourne, which he completed in 2018.
