Justin Nix is Associate Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska Omaha. He co-ordinates the University’s MA programme and teaches undergraduate and graduate-level classes on policing. Justin received his PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 2015. His research centres on policing, with emphasis on procedural justice, legitimacy, and officer-involved shootings. He has recently co-authored articles appearing in Justice Quarterly, Criminology & Public Policy, and Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency.
