Julian Foster is Global co-lead for the Social Media Center of Excellence at Motorola Solutions. For 15 years he was an independent digital marketing consultant – working with global enterprise IT organizations including Microsoft, Informatica, Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Software AG, Sybase, and BMC Software. Since joining Motorola Solutions in 2015, Julian’s key area of interest has been the use of social media in Public Safety, and the role of big data in supporting Modern Policing. “Operationalizing social media” is another passion of Julian’s – from a Public Safety perspective, but also within Motorola Solutions as a global organization. He leads multiple initiatives to ensure social media is fully leveraged within the business, and to maintain their dominant position in the critical communications social media landscape.
