Graham Hooper is principal lecturer and director of Policing at Canterbury Christ Church University. Before he moved into academia he was a police officer serving in Thames Valley Police and in various national positions including HMIC, the Home Office and the National Policing Improvement Agency. He has also been chief executive to a Police Authority and a Police and Crime Commissioner.
