Brett Peppler is a professional intelligence officer with almost 40 years of practical experience in the strategic planning, intelligence, futures, and risk domains both in Australia and overseas. He is an accomplished and innovative educator, trainer, consultant, futurist, manager, analyst, and facilitator, specialising in scenario-based strategic planning, especially in policy settings. Previously, while in academia, Brett developed the first, fully-articulated post-graduate qualifications for intelligence in Australia, developed and delivered units for post-graduate and advanced degree programs for universities in Australia and overseas, as well as short professional programs for public and private sector executives. Brett has made a noteworthy professional contribution to the intelligence body of knowledge through his writing, and regular presentations to national and international conferences. Currently, he is the Research and Intelligence Advisor for Strategic Innovation within a large financial services group. Brett is a Fellow and Past President of the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers (AIPIO), a member and previous Board member of the International Association for Intelligence Education (IAFIE), and a member of the Australian Risk Policy Institute (ARPI).
