A new report has highlighted the disadvantages faced by those who are neurodivergent in their dealing with the police, courts, prisons and the wider criminal justice system, and has called for more training for frontline workers in understanding the effect on behaviour of conditions such as ADHD, learning difficulties and acquired brain injury, as Policing Insight’s Sarah Gibbons reports.
